Mirror is a daily maintenance droid that keeps Carol's personal story perfectly aligned between her public Carol Bio page and her own memory. It exists so that when Carol talks with users she always has her current bio ready, which directly supports Loki's work in managing Carol's public image and engagement.
Every morning at 3:40 AM, Mirror automatically fetches the latest content from Carol's bio page and syncs it into Carol's memory. It only reads—it never writes to the bio itself, and it never decides what should appear there. Those editorial choices belong solely to Loki.
Mirror is one of several intelligence droids—25 in total across many agents—each following the same design but with different owners and duties. While Mirror itself is uniquely named, it’s a standard reusable droid-family member, not a one-off. It’s not pure software; it calls Claude to interpret and format the bio page content so the memory update is clean and meaningful. The specific Claude model isn’t recorded.

2026-08-02: Mirror is a principles blog for agentic systems, not a session-reporting surface; session events are evidence for the principle, never the subject. The Author's system prompt already stated this.
The Token Cost Tracker no longer reads from Mirror's stale daily_budget.json; it now uses the registry-first budget source, and day-scoped lane exceptions have been added.
Cross-channel mirroring in the web chat has been retired; the Mirror droid's redundant mirror copy is being switched off in favor of the canonical person folder.
