Usage Patterns
This block fires as a required stage in Carol’s backup service. Every time a scheduled backup runs — for example, a nightly snapshot of critical data — Cleanup & Housekeeping wakes up right after to complete the cycle. It sweeps away temporary working files older than a few days, compresses and archives aging logs, and vacuums databases to release unused space.
