About
Foreman Reviewer (FM-R1) is a testing droid that gives Sage a fast, reliable way to confirm that Foreman’s process‑detection logic is working correctly. It exists so that Sage doesn’t have to check manually whether dead processes are caught, healthy ones are left alone, the startup sweep marks orphaned processes, and recovery actions fire when they should. By running a focused test suite on demand, it acts as a health check for Foreman’s core behaviours.
The droid is triggered directly by Sage when verification is needed. It steps through a set of pre‑defined scenarios that exercise Foreman’s detection and triage rules, then logs pass/fail results to the Initiatives Tracker. If any test fails, FM‑R1 raises a flag but stops there—it does not investigate root causes or adjust Foreman’s actual behaviour. Investigation and remediation are left to other systems and agents.
FM‑R1 is a unique, named instance of the watcher droid family, a standard archetype that 14 droids across multiple agents rely on, including Albus, Clara, Elrond, and Sage itself. While the watcher pattern is shared, this specific “Foreman Reviewer” is the only one of its exact name and purpose—it is not a copy. It is pure software that executes its tests directly, with no calls to Claude or any external AI model.
