📖What it means

The fourth operator rung: a human working through an Orion session whose login holds the access of one named service and nothing else, its reach derived from an operator scope that names that service.

📖Easily confused with

[{"term": "Service owner", "distinction": "A service owner is the agent accountable for a service; a service operator is a person with access to it."}, {"term": "Operator", "distinction": "An operator reaches the whole estate except the core."}]

📖Nuance

Defined 2026-09-24 and held by no login yet: until an operator scope names a service, there is no service operator. First named 'service admin', renamed the same day.

📖Also called

- service-scoped operator
