📖What it means

The admin's power to set aside any principle, rule or prompt, and to amend the constitution itself, at any time. An override is legitimate authority being exercised — it is never a bug to be fixed.

📖Easily confused with

[{"term": "Revoke", "distinction": "An override sets aside one rule; a revoke withdraws the delegate's authority altogether."}, {"term": "Violation", "distinction": "An override is the admin lawfully setting a rule aside; a violation is anyone else ignoring it."}]

📖Also called

- admin override
- waiver
