The Deep Link Builder droid generates tap‑to‑order URLs for restaurant ordering. When a customer clicks one of these links, they land directly on the right platform (like a delivery app or a restaurant’s own ordering page) with the menu or checkout already loaded. It exists to remove friction – instead of searching, the customer is one tap away from ordering.

How it works under the hood isn’t fully recorded yet. We know it builds platform‑specific deep links, but its execution engine is currently unknown, so we can’t say whether it runs as pure software or calls out to Claude for parts of the work. What we do know is that it’s a standard, reusable droid without a named family – the template is simply copied and owned by many agents across the Carolverse.

This particular copy is owned by Merlin. It’s not unique; the same Deep Link Builder design is used by 212 agents in total (including Albus, Archon, Argus, and many others), each managing their own instance. The droid’s name is always exactly “Deep Link Builder,” no variations, which keeps it easy to recognise wherever it appears.
