The Glossary Traceability Scanner keeps Carol's terminology pointing at reality. On a daily schedule it rebuilds the links from every term to the data that actually instantiates that term, so a concept found in the Data Dictionary or Carolopedia leads to current, real records instead of stale hand-maintained guesses. It also surfaces cases where the same fact is stored in more than one place, making duplicate storage visible instead of silently drifting.

The droid is owned by Orion and runs as a scheduled process (daily at 04:40, see Scheduled Processes). For each term it classifies every connection as either an attribute — a facet of the thing itself — or a reference — a pointer to something else — and reports the rebuilt traceability graph. It belongs to the scanner droid family (see Droid Families): one of four scanner droids operated by Orion and Prometheus.

The name "Glossary Traceability Scanner" is unique to this droid, but it is not a one-off: it is one of several scanner-family droids other agents also run. Its execution engine is not recorded yet, so it is not yet known whether it is pure software or calls Claude — no source has been located to confirm either way.
