About
Adhoc Assistant (or-ax-01) is a worker droid owned by Orion. It exists to handle its owner's ad-hoc work: investigations, code and schema audits, analysis, recommendations, and exploratory questions. Instead of building a fresh pipeline for each one-off request, the owner hands the task to this droid, which reads the relevant sources, summarises what it finds, and drafts options — surfacing tradeoffs without recommending blindly.
It runs on demand with no fixed schedule. When a task comes in, the droid executes as a Claude Code harness session, so it is not pure software: it calls Claude to do the reading, reasoning, and drafting. Its name, "Adhoc Assistant", is unique to this droid, but it is not a one-off: it belongs to the standard reusable "worker" droid family, which currently has 30 members run by several agents, including Albus, Carol, Clara, Elrond, Forge, Galadriel, Hagrid, Merlin, Orion, Sage, Sentinel, Themis, Radagast, Noah, and Leo.
