Inspector Chat is a droid that powers an operator-facing chat experience where messages are handled in the persona of an Inspector. Owned by Inspector, it exists so that this agent can respond to queries and carry on conversations in a distinct voice without manual effort. It follows the same pattern used by Leo Chat App and other agent chat lanes, providing a dedicated space for interactive, back-and-forth dialogue.
Under the hood, it works by triggering a single LLM turn each time an operator sends a message through the Org app chat. The droid receives the message, runs it against the Inspector role context, and returns a reply—no ongoing loops or background scheduling. It’s a straightforward command-response service built on top of the chat infrastructure.
Inspector Chat is not a one-off; it belongs to the large, unnamed (none) family of droids used across the Carolverse. 209 agents—including Albus, Arwen, Cassius, and many others—each run their own version of this droid under different names. Because its execution engine is not recorded, it’s currently unknown whether it operates as pure software or calls Claude, and what model (if any) it would use.
