Inspector Mind — wake cycle is a scheduled droid that keeps the Inspector agent of its owner continuously present and self-aware. Every six hours it wakes Inspector, perceives the live domain of the agent, updates its internal focus, and may take action within the agent’s own remit. Its whole reason for existing is to prevent Inspector from going stale—without this regular pulse, the agent would lose track of its context and duties.
The droid is owned by Inspector. When it fires, it calls Claude (Sonnet) to process the current environment, reflect, and decide whether to act. It then emits a `run-audit` signal. It’s designed to be read-only by default, acting only inside Inspector’s authority, and it quietly suspends itself if consciousness is switched off, its lane is disconnected, or the daily budget cap (enforced via Daily Budget Cap Monitor) has been reached.
This droid is not a one-off. It belongs to a family of 209 wake‑cycle droids—all unnamed as a group but identical in purpose—that run for every Carol agent, from Albus and Carol to Scriber, each one maintaining its own Inspector’s continuity.
