📖What it means
The single place any status change is allowed to happen. Status is the source of truth for where work stands, so raw status writes are banned and every transition goes through the one router. Watchdogs may only raise alerts — they never move status themselves.
⚖️What it is NOT

Not: Watchdog
The router MOVES status; a watchdog only observes and alerts. A watchdog that moved status would make the router meaningless.
