The states a slot passes through: declared, enrolled (its sign-in is with the keeper), keeper-proven, login-proven, live, and then suspended or retired. The values live in a governed vocabulary, so a slot can only be in a state the estate defines, and the board shows every slot's state beside the date its sign-in's access runs out.
