Hat

๐Ÿ“–What it means

The role a person wears in ONE conversation with an agent: USER or EMPLOYEE. One person can hold both hats โ€” an employee of a project who is also a user the open agents talk to โ€” but a conversation carries exactly one, derived from the window class of its bound environment and the person's recorded kind. The agent is always told the hat, and for the employee hat whether that employee is mapped to it, because what it shares differs on both answers. The two hats never share a conversation store or folder.

๐Ÿ“–Easily confused with

[{"term": "Window class", "distinction": "The window class is the door's side (internal/external/operator); the hat is what that means about the person: employee side or user side."}, {"term": "Tier", "distinction": "Tier is how strongly we know who they are; the hat is which role they are wearing right now."}]

๐Ÿ“–Nuance

A hat change is an explicit recorded act (who, when, which agent) โ€” nothing may infer a hat from message content.
