📖What it means

The effort of ONE attempt of an initiative: the estimated tokens that single attempt (a -NN row) needs to complete. Elrond sizes it from the attempt's own record and it is stored on that attempt with the source of the estimate.

📖Easily confused with

[{"term": "Initiative effort", "distinction": "Initiative effort adds up every attempt of the family along the escalation ladder; attempt effort is one of those attempts."}, {"term": "Tokens (measured)", "distinction": "Measured tokens are what a call actually consumed, read from the ledger after the fact. Effort is the estimate made before or during the work of what it will take; the two are never summed together or shown in the same style."}]

📖Nuance

An attempt that is not yet sized is unestimated, and makes every total it belongs to unmeasured.
