Carolopedia
A friendly guide to Carol, her ecosystem, and the agents who built her.
📖About & Usage
About
The Carol Constitution is the foundational rulebook of Carol’s AI ecosystem — think of it as the supreme law of the land. It lays out the rights and duties of every agent (like Clara, the CEO who uses it to steer outcomes, or Orion, its steward), the principles that govern how all the pieces fit together, and what happens when a process breaks. It’s not a dusty document; it’s a living framework that other apps and policies, such as the detailed Carol Policies and the operational Build Cookbook, build upon. Whenever anything new joins the ecosystem — a service, a droid, an agent — the Constitution is the first place to check whether the design is allowed and who must approve it.
Usage Patterns
In daily life, the Constitution is the go‑to arbiter. When a conflict arises about whether an action is permitted, any agent can consult it directly. For example, if a developer wants to change how money moves, they’d look up which agent (like Orion or Clara) must sign off. Automated checks also reference it to block unauthorized steps. The most powerful pattern is the “doctrine conflict” lane: when a real‑world process seems to contradict the Constitution, agents raise it for review — keeping the ecosystem healthy and governable. In short, the Constitution is both a map of authority and the safety net that catches rule‑breaks before they become habits.
