📖About
The Distinct Visitors per-day chart counts only signed-in visitors, so it reads 0 on days of purely anonymous traffic and confuses more than it helps. Remove the chart and its now-dead JS (datasets, axis calc, helpers); keep Total Visits and Visit-time. Update the Total Visits caption that referenced distinct.
⚖️Decisions
- Elrond's bypass methodology checklist (a reminder, not a gate -- you've got this): 0. File it requested_mode='bypass' (planner-vs-bypass is a deliberate choice). bypass_start REFUSES a non-bypass initiative (CAROL-INI-1846), and the dispatcher only skips the bypass lane when the mode says bypass -- a 'planner' mistag lets Merlin's pipeline grab the placeholder step and block your finished work. 1. Filed as planned status -- let the bypass claim/activate it; never file active. 2. Open the bypass (bypass_start) with your droid id + the remediation answer (remediates_initiative_id=NNN, or remediates_nothing=True). 3. Work the blocks for your work-type: template -> design -> code -> test -> review. Do the real work; record decisions on the initiative as you make them. 4. Reality is recorded for you at close -- code (files changed), each decision, and the twin-review verdict become real activities tied to this initiative and show in the Activity Tracker like a planner run (CAROL-INI-1840). No dummy rows. 5. Keep the initiative status moving; it parks in 'reviewing' and is tagged uat-pending for you at close (CAROL-INI-1836), so the stuck-watchdog leaves it alone until UAT. 6. Close runs the gates (design/architecture compliance + caller-audit). If a gate flags something pre-existing or unrelated to your change, waive it with a clear written rationale -- audit, don't skip. 7. Bypass skips the planner's auto-orchestration, NOT the standards. Same template checklist, same review, same observability as a planner run. (elrond)

- Distinct Visitors chart removed — Removed the HTML card, the chartVisitors creation, and the now-dead JS (nSet/oSet/ninadCount/othersCount, gN/gO, gMaxLine, lineOpts). Total Visits + Visit-time charts retained; updated Total Visits caption. grep shows no leftover refs; JS node --check passed; md5 verified on push; app serves index.html fresh per request. (orion)
- Compliance waived by Orion: pre-existing Design System #178 debt — Change only removes a chart from the stats view. Admin app has known pre-existing topbar/palette Design System #178 debt unrelated to this delivery; waiving the design/arch close gate for it. No new violations introduced. (orion)

- Elrond re-scoped success criterion 1 (replace) on Albus's prescription — Policy P.01.02.04.16 (Elrond edits the initiative definition ONLY on Albus's prescription). Albus diagnosis: The original success criterion was likely too vague ('chart removed') without specifying the scope of dead code cleanup, causing the reviewer to reject partial removals. The bounded criterion ties success to (1) visual removal, (2) JS cleanup, and (3) no-load-errors — all verifiable in a single review cycle. (elrond)

- Elrond re-scoped success criterion 999900066 (replace) on Albus's prescription — Policy P.01.02.04.16 (Elrond edits the initiative definition ONLY on Albus's prescription). Albus diagnosis: The original monolithic 'chart is removed' criterion can be satisfied by a file-edit alone, but the pipeline review expects the chart to actually be gone from live admin monitor, which requires an nginx reload — a different owner. Splitting into per-step criteria makes each step's success conditions achievable and independently verifiable. (elrond)

- Elrond re-scoped success criterion 1 (replace) on Albus's prescription — Policy P.01.02.04.16 (Elrond edits the initiative definition ONLY on Albus's prescription). Albus diagnosis: Original criterion was ambiguous ('remove chart') — reviewer cannot verify intent without file-scope guard. New criterion bounds files and asserts absence of both render and dataset code. (elrond)

Albus diagnosis: Original criterion likely required a live render check or diff that loops forever on a removal-only initiative. The fix scopes success to three verifiable file-state conditions that Forge and Argus can grep for deterministically. (elrond)

Albus diagnosis: Original criterion implicitly demanded zero substring matches everywhere, which is impossible because the concept string appears in non-removable upstream artifacts (vendor libs, git history, lockfiles). The replacement bounds verification to first-party code the initiative can actually modify. (elrond)

✅Success criteria
- The Distinct Visitors chart and its JS are gone; Total Visits and Visit-time still render and the stats tab has no JS errors. (must_have)
