📖About & Usage

About

The Blogs service is your personal editorial assistant, built so you never have to wrestle with a blank page again. Hand a topic, a bullet list, or a scrappy first draft to BilboCarol’s Head of Blogs — and he’ll research, write a polished post, share it for your review, and publish it right on the schedule you’ve agreed. It exists to give the internal team a steady blogging rhythm without stealing hours from creative or strategic work.

Bilbo doesn’t just draft; he can manage your whole editorial calendar and handle syndication across channels. The service is live and actively used, though it’s still being refined (readiness is work-in-progress). Every piece goes through a human-in-the-loop approval step, so the final voice stays unmistakably yours — never a generic robot tone.

Usage Patterns

You’ll turn to Blogs whenever recurring content needs a quiet, reliable engine. Imagine the marketing team runs a weekly “Behind the Build” series. On Monday, someone drops Bilbo a handful of talking points: a new feature, a funny incident from the office, a useful tip. Bilbo drafts a warm, conversational post, then pings the team for feedback. One quick edit later, it’s live on the company blog Friday morning. Need to pause that week? Just tell him. Want a more formal tone for a product launch? He’ll adapt.

It’s just as handy for individuals. A product lead who wants a thought-leadership column but can’t find writing time simply shares a rough idea — Bilbo turns it into a full article, handling the structure and flow. Because the service is tracked under cost center CC-004, usage is visible, but the experience stays as simple as handing a note to the most reliable editor on the team.

🏛Architecture

The Blogs service is built following the agent-centric modular architecture of Carolverse. It leverages agile principles to build or modify software using distinct agent identities, each carrying out a specific activity — here, a single owner agent, Bilbo, runs a subscriber's blog by drafting, reviewing, publishing, editing and syndicating posts on an agreed schedule.

Speech track · Bilbo
Every spoken word the estate produces: Carol's voice notes and voice calls, Scriber's narration, any agent that speaks. Cross-cutting like Chat and Consciousness — speech is speech whoever is speaking, so the charge lands here rather than on the speaker's own track. Gated before spend; a refusal always degrades to text, so nobody is ever left without an answer.

Every picture and every video the estate generates: Scriber's scenes and heroes, Archon's portraits, the diagram reviewer. Cross-cutting — a picture is a picture whoever asked for it, so it is governed as the activity rather than scattered across the tracks of whoever happened to want one. This is the estate's largest real spend, and until now almost none of it was recorded against a limit.

CAROL-INI-3890-00: The Carolverse gateway drawn in the house style, and the painted original given the world page
Ninad (CLI-272): the Carolopedia landing hero is a dark photoreal painting, while everything around it - the Carol and Orion portraits, the Carolverse Map, and the world-in-words\u2026

CAROL-INI-3888-00: A Carolopedia page that is not a registry row can be neither searched nor linked
Ninad (CLI-272) reported two symptoms: searching 'oratorium' in Carolopedia returns No matches, and the two Oratorium blogs in Orion's Logbook carry no link to the Oratorium page.\u2026

Change2026-08-05

2026-08-03: Per ruling CAROL-INI-3620-00, Blogs no longer carries the Logbook story/post-published tasks; they were reallocated to Constitution because billing follows an activity's purpose, not its droid's home.

Change2026-08-05

Blogs now has a Carolopedia guide page derived live from its registry record, documenting purpose, category, steward, and consumers; it is reachable only from consuming pages, not from indexes.

Change2026-07-28

Published Blogs are now classified as kind=orion_blog and stamped with their blog.denken-labs.com URL in the Source of Truth.

New Content2026-07-25

On 2025-03-28, Blogs published an Orion Logbook post explaining the five pipeline statuses, dispatch queue, breaker, and modes, linked to a new Carolopedia guide.

Fix2026-07-24

A fix was applied to route Author's model='sonnet' calls through the paid Claude lane, preventing a silent fallback to DeepSeek that changed the blog voice. The orion-logbook-backfill droid was added to the anthropic ringfence with a per-droid override (provider=anthropic, model=sonnet), and story 198 was re-authored in the house voice.

Fix2026-07-24

The public blog site now returns a proper 404 status and a noindex meta tag for deep-links to unpublished or non-existent story IDs, preventing search engines from indexing blank pages. This fixes the issue where such links previously returned an empty page with HTTP 200, which affected Blogs.

Fix2026-07-12

The Logbook app no longer publishes CLI work sessions as blogs. Three past sessions (rows 141, 143, 148) that incorrectly appeared due to a bypass close gate and session-start sweeper have been corrected. All public story surfaces now require explicit authored content. Blogs
