About
Merlin's Wellbeing Monitor is a daily droid owned by Merlin. Its job is to check whether Merlin's direct reports are active, enabled, and actually performing their work — giving Merlin a supervisor's view that goes beyond simply aggregating status reports. It exists to catch idle or disabled reports before they become problems.
The droid runs once a day through a shared, agent-blind wellbeing-monitor mechanism that points at Merlin's agent id. If it finds issues during a run, it files one initiative and escalates it to Elrond, who tracks the follow-up.
It is not a one-off: it is one member of the twelve-droid monitor family, which several other agents also run for the same purpose. It is pure software — no Claude calls — so it executes entirely by code on schedule.
