The Backup Coverage Auditor is a scheduled droid owned by Tyr. Every morning at 05:20 it verifies that every critical database — including the access databases behind Access Mgmt - Users and Access Mgmt - Agents — is included in the backup set maintained by the Infrastructure & Backups service. It exists as a safety net so a critical database can't silently fall out of backup coverage without anyone noticing.
Its execution engine isn't recorded yet, so it isn't known whether it's pure software or calls Claude; no model or Claude purpose has been logged. In principle it compares the list of critical databases against the backup set and flags any that are missing, but its source hasn't been located, so those implementation details aren't confirmed.
The name "Backup Coverage Auditor" is unique to this droid. It is nonetheless one of 222 droids in an unnamed family (listed as "(none)") that agents across the Carolverse also run, so the role is a standard, reusable pattern even though this instance has a unique name.
