๐Ÿ“–About & Usage

About

The App Steward droid is a small automated caretaker that keeps its owner's registered apps alive. It periodically checks apps assigned to its owner and, if any are down or unresponsive, relaunches them using the shared `app_steward.py` mechanism. It exists so applications don't silently fail and stay available without requiring a human or agent to watch them manually.

It is owned by Thorin. It uses the standard app-steward approach shared across the Carolverse, and its checks are scoped only to Thorin's own registered apps. It is one of 19 app-steward droids: this is a standard reusable droid family that many other agents also run, not a one-off.

This droid is pure software. Its source contains no Claude calls, so it does not invoke a Claude model โ€” it simply runs its scheduled liveness checks and relaunch logic directly.
