๐Ÿ“–About & Usage

About

App Steward (stw-003) keeps the apps registered to Argus alive. On a scheduled basis it checks whether each of its owner's apps is still running; any app that has gone down is relaunched through the shared app-liveness mechanism (shared/app_steward.py). Its job is essentially watchkeeping: without it, a crashed app could sit dead until a human or another droid happened to notice.

This droid is one instance of the app-steward family, not a one-off. The same family runs 19 droids across many agents, including Archon, Carol, Clara, Hermione, Themis, and Leo, and there are 18 exact-name copies of "App Steward"; each copy is scoped to its own owner's apps. Related context lives in Droid Families and Shared Services, and its health checks fit under the Process Monitoring service.

App Steward is pure software. No Claude calls were found in its source, so it runs entirely on its own code and does not rely on an AI model to do its work.
