About
SST Scanner (sst-scan-01) is a scheduled worker droid owned by Clara. Every day at 02:30 it re-scans the whole project and rebuilds the Source-of-Truth catalog in Source of Truth, keeping it fresh without anyone having to refresh it by hand. It exists because the Source of Truth catalog is only useful if it accurately reflects current artifacts — and scanning everything manually would be slow and error-prone.
It works by walking through all project artifacts read-only, refreshing every artifact category, and recording a scan row each run so there is a history of scans. By design it never mutates source data: it only reads, then writes its findings to the catalog.
The name "SST Scanner" is unique to this droid, but it is not a one-off. It belongs to the standard worker droid family documented in Droid Families, which 30 droids across the ecosystem run — owned by agents such as Albus, Carol, Clara, Elrond, Forge, Galadriel, Hagrid, Merlin, Orion, Sage, Themis, Radagast, Noah, and Leo. It is pure software: no Claude calls were found in its source, so it runs without any model involvement.
