Step Reviewer checks plans so its owner, Merlin, can execute with confidence. Before and after execution, it assesses evidence, organisational fit, ownership, coverage, policy alignment, and whether promised steps occurred. It also checks combined tactical plans for gaps or conflicts.
It records findings, scores, and review outcomes in the plan database but cannot change plans, execute them, investigate other systems, escalate findings, or make decisions. “Step Reviewer” is a unique name, but it belongs to the reusable reviewer family, which has 31 droids across several agents. It calls Claude to review and score step plans; the specific Claude model is not recorded.
