Sprint Builder (spb-01) is a scheduled droid owned by Elrond that runs every day at 04:00. It builds the daily sprint schedule for the planner-mode backlog: it looks at the pending build work, rebuilds the forward sprints ordered by ETA, works out an effort and ETA estimate for each item, and rolls anything unfinished into the next day. In short, it keeps the build plan always looking forward, so each day starts with a current schedule instead of a stale one. Work in the bypass lane — the special path reserved for Orion and Albus — is deliberately excluded from its plan.

Sprint Builder is a one-off, not a reusable family droid: it belongs to no droid family and no other droid in the registry shares its name. It was built specifically for Elrond's build pipeline, which turns Carol's Carol Initiatives into shipped products, and traces back to the build initiative that created it. It is scheduled rather than event-triggered, and its execution engine isn't recorded yet — no source location has been found, so it isn't yet known whether it is pure software or calls Claude.
