Scriber Story Composer is a small scheduled droid owned by Scriber that keeps Albus's inbox tidy. Despite the name, it doesn't write stories — it sweeps the handshake_requests queue and archives stale dead-letter handshakes addressed to Albus (open requests to agent Albus older than five minutes). It was rehomed from the retired al_watch_01 droid as part of CAROL-INI-145 (see Carol Initiatives).
On its daily schedule, the droid finds open handshake_requests where to_agent=albus, archives anything older than five minutes, and emits a run-audit each run so the work is visible. It is deliberately narrow: it may only read and update handshake_requests, and never invokes troubleshooting. Like other scheduled jobs, it is tracked in Scheduled Processes.
"Scriber Story Composer" is a unique name, although the registry groups it under the "(none)" family alongside 222 other one-off droids owned across Carol's agents. It is pure software — no Claude calls were found in its source, so it executes without any model.
