About

Deployer (rd-dep-01) is a worker droid owned by Radagast. It is the accountable executor for the deploy phase of deploy-bearing skills: when a production app is ready to be promoted, Deployer runs deploy.sh (CAROL-INI-903) to promote or roll back the app, then smoke-tests the live URL to confirm the deployment actually took. It exists so production changes always have one named, accountable executor instead of happening ad hoc inside an agent session.

Deployer is triggered on demand rather than running on a schedule. It is one of 30 droids in the standard "worker" droid family, a reusable pattern that many agents run (for example Albus, Clara, Forge, Merlin, and Orion); the Deployer name itself is unique, but the droid is not a one-off. Its work is closely tied to deployment tooling such as Deployment Tracker and Pipeline.

Per a verified source trace, Deployer is pure software: it makes no Claude calls at all. The deploy, rollback, and smoke-test steps are all executed by scripts, not by a model.
