The Retrospective Analyst is a scheduled droid owned by Prometheus. It is the detection arm of Quality Management: its job is to turn history into lessons. It mines closed initiatives and reviews failures and incidents, looking for recurring quality patterns and improvement opportunities, then writes up findings for the Improvement Proposer to act on.

It runs on a schedule, though no specific cadence is recorded. It draws on the initiative-review surface of the ecosystem, including Initiative Audit, and sits alongside the other quality-facing tooling such as Quality Scorecard.

The Retrospective Analyst belongs to the analyst droid family, and it is the only droid in that family — no other agent runs an analyst droid, and the name "Retrospective Analyst" is unique. Its execution engine isn't recorded yet, so it isn't yet known whether it is pure software or calls Claude.
