About

The Improvement Proposer is a worker droid owned by Prometheus. Its job is to be the closing arm of the improvement loop: whenever something in Carol's ecosystem shows a below-target metric or a pattern worth acting on, this droid makes sure that insight becomes a filed, dispatched fix — never a dead end.

It works by turning detected patterns and lagging metrics into improvement initiatives tracked in Carol Initiatives, de-duplicating them against existing work, and running the closed-loop RSI triad (metric → scoreboard → improvement engine, see RSI Dashboard) that auto-files and dispatches fixes. If it finds a new dimension worth measuring, it files an "instrument-new-metric" initiative so the gap gets tracked. It is a scheduled droid, though no schedule is currently set.

The Improvement Proposer is one of two engine-family droids; the other is run by Hermione, and the family is documented in Droid Families. Its exact name is unique to this droid, but the engine archetype is a reusable pattern other agents also run. Its execution engine isn't recorded yet, so it's unknown whether it runs as pure software or calls Claude — no source has been located that says either way.
