Best-Practice Sweep is a scanner droid owned by Prometheus. Its purpose is to keep every service in the Carolverse measured against the current best-practice bar, not yesterday's. It runs a nightly scan for drift from current best practice across services and flags uplift candidates to the Improvement Proposer, so standards don't quietly decay.

It belongs to the standard scanner droid family described in Droid Families. Its exact name is unique, but it is not a one-off: it is one of four scanner droids, and the same family also runs for Orion. As a scheduled process, it is part of the nightly upkeep tracked in Scheduled Processes.

Its execution engine isn't recorded yet — no source has been located that says whether it is pure software or calls Claude, so that detail is currently unknown.
