Plan Generator Reasoning is a bespoke droid that performs a plan reasoning pass—it’s the piece that thinks through the logic and structure of a plan before anything gets built. It exists so that Elrond (Elrond) can offload the heavy analytical work of checking whether a plan is coherent, complete, and sensible, without having to hold the whole thing in his own process.

It runs as part of a pipeline, triggered automatically when a plan is ready for scrutiny. Exactly how it works under the hood isn’t recorded—its execution engine is unknown, so we can’t say whether it’s pure software, a Claude call, or some mix. Because it’s a one-off droid built just for Elrond, it doesn’t follow a standard template and its internals are custom to his workflow.

Although it belongs to the “(none)” family—meaning it isn’t part of a named, reusable droid line—it’s one of 216 such custom droids across the whole Carolverse. That makes it unique in purpose and name: no other agent runs an exact copy of “Plan Generator Reasoning”, even though many agents use their own custom droids from this same large pool of one-offs.
