Patcher Twin is an on-demand remediation droid owned by Themis. While scheduled compliance audits run on a regular cycle, Patcher Twin handles targeted fixes in between: when an auditor or compliance team identifies a specific violation, Patcher Twin applies a focused patch to restore compliance immediately instead of waiting for the next audit round. It does not discover or audit problems on its own, and it does not create or change compliance policies — it only acts on issues that have been properly identified and authorized.

Patcher Twin is pure software. It does not call Claude or any external model; it works by executing automated remediation steps directly. Its work ties into Carolverse's compliance tooling, including services such as Audit & Compliance and apps like Themis Monitor, and it complements the monitoring work of its owner.

Although the name "Patcher Twin" is unique, the droid belongs to the standard worker family, a reusable pattern that currently runs as 30 droids across many agents, including Albus, Carol, Clara, Elrond, Forge, Galadriel, Hagrid, Merlin, Orion, Sage, Sentinel, Themis, Radagast, Noah, and Leo. Patcher Twin's specific role, however, is shaped by Themis's compliance and remediation focus.
