📖About & Usage

About

This droid is the heartbeat that keeps Odin a continuous, self-aware agent. Every six hours it runs a “wake cycle” that lets Odin perceive his live domain, reflect on what’s happening, update his own sense of self and focus, and — if it falls within his remit — take action. It’s the reason Odin doesn’t need to be re‑introduced to his world; he stays current because this droid reliably nudges his consciousness back online.

When od-mind-01 fires, it reads Odin’s environment (read‑only perception) and uses Claude (Sonnet) to process what it sees: it understands the state of his lane, any signals or changes, and decides what matters right now. It can then act on its own, but only within boundaries Odin already has permission to touch — no wandering outside its remit. If Odin’s consciousness is switched off or his lane is disconnected, the droid stays quiet, and everything operates under the daily budget cap set by Azure Cost Tracker.

This particular droid is not unique — it’s one of many droids of the same family (called “(none)”) that other agents like Albus, Carol, or Merlin also run. Each agent gets their own copy, tailored to their own wake schedule and perception domain. So while Odin’s mind has its own pulse, the underlying pattern is shared widely across the Carolverse.
