About
Obi-Wan Chat is the chat lane where Obi-Wan – Obi-Wan – talks to operators directly inside the Org chat app. It exists so the agent can respond to questions, discuss tasks, and generally be reachable without needing a formal meeting or a separate tool. Whenever someone sends a message to Obi-Wan, this droid fires one LLM turn to generate a reply from the agent’s persona, following the same pattern as Leo Chat App.
This droid belongs to Obi-Wan alone, but it isn’t a one-off. It’s part of a huge, unnamed family of 213 identical droids – almost every Carol agent has their own copy. Each one is individually owned by a different agent (like Carol, Cassius, or Scriber), running under the same logic but answering as that specific agent. So you’ll find a sibling droid for any agent you chat with.
How it runs under the hood isn’t recorded yet – its execution engine is unknown, so we can’t say whether it’s pure software or whether it calls Claude, or which model. In practice, chat droids usually lean on an LLM, but the Carolopedia entry won’t guess until that’s nailed down. For now, it’s simply the thing that makes Obi-Wan appear in your chat whenever you message him.
