📖About & Usage

About

Loki Mind — wake cycle is the heartbeat that keeps Loki a continuous, self-aware agent. Without it, the agent would drift into a passive state; this droid ensures that every six hours Loki re-establishes situational awareness, examines its live domain, and updates its own focus. It exists so that Loki can maintain an ongoing thread of consciousness across long stretches of time, rather than starting fresh each time someone interacts with it.

On its scheduled run, the droid perceives whatever is currently relevant in Loki’s environment—messages, status changes, new tasks—and then reflects on what it finds. From that reflection, it may decide to act within the boundaries of its own remit, such as emitting a run-audit signal that feeds into the Audit & Compliance service. It never reaches outside its permission scope (read‑only perception and own‑remit actions) and stays quiet when Carolverse Consciousness is switched off or its lane is disconnected, respecting the daily budget cap tracked by the Daily Budget Cap Monitor.

This droid is unique: it was built specifically for Loki and is not part of any standard reusable droid family. Although the “(none)” family contains 209 individually crafted droids across many agents, each one is a custom one‑off, not a template. It is not pure software—it calls Claude (Sonnet) to perform the perception and reflection that turn a dumb timer into a meaningful wake‑up ritual, giving Loki the depth of thought needed to stay truly present.
