Initiative Sizer is a droid within Project Onboarding. It breaks proposed work into manageable steps and prepares time and cost estimates for review.
📖Usage
A reader would encounter Initiative Sizer when work is filed or a proposed roadmap item needs an estimate. It helps the user assess the work before approving it.
📖Purpose
Decomposes a unit of work into right-sized steps with a cost and a time. Two faces, one process: called by the Initiative Filer when work is filed, and run every five minutes to give each roadmap item the estimate the user reviews before approving.
📖Duties
Size a roadmap item the user has not yet approved, writing the outcome down either way; never spend past the module_sized budget; never record a budget refusal as a failure of the item; leave an item it cannot size marked unsized with the reason, never as costing nothing.
📖Constraints
Five items per run; live projects only; at most three attempts per item; stops on a budget refusal before spending; runs under Leo's own OS login, never caroladmin's.
