The Initiative Filer is an on-demand droid owned by Leo that turns proposed roadmap entries into real initiatives. It exists so its owner doesn't have to file initiatives by hand and so nothing proposed on the Carolverse Strategy gets lost or stuck in "proposed" status. For each proposed entry, it POSTs to the Carol Initiatives API and pins the returned initiative id back on the row, flipping that row's status to filed.
When triggered, the droid processes each proposed row one at a time. If the POST succeeds and returns an initiative id, it updates the row; if the POST fails, it skips the row and records the error without changing the status. By design it never re-files an already-filed entry and never auto-closes initiatives — its only job is filing, and the new initiatives are filed with Elrond.
This droid is not unique. It is one of 26 author-family droids, and there are two copies named "Initiative Filer". It is pure software: no Claude calls were found in its source, so it runs on its own without an LLM.
