The Infra RSI Improvement Engine is a scheduled droid owned by Hagrid that makes the Infrastructure service recursively self-improving, starting with CPU usage. Every day at 02:50, after the metric collector finishes, it checks infrastructure health: whenever CPU has fallen below the 9.9/10 target, the engine files a planner-mode improvement initiative so the shortfall gets addressed instead of silently recurring.

It works strictly read-only — it never edits initiatives directly. Instead it files each improvement through the Author, tags it `infra-rsi` and `rsi-metric:cpu`, deduplicates so the same issue isn't filed twice, and dispatches it through the Pipeline for execution. These tagged initiatives live in Carol Initiatives and feed the RSI Dashboard effort, closing the loop between monitoring and action.

This droid is a one-off: its name is unique and it belongs to no standard reusable family (its registered family is "(none)"). For reference, 222 droids across the ecosystem share that same "(none)" family classification under other owners, but this exact engine runs only for Hagrid. It is pure software — its source contains no Claude calls — so it executes entirely on its own.
