Heimdall Chat is the direct messaging lane that lets you talk to Heimdall inside the Carolverse. Whenever an operator or another agent sends a message to Heimdall through the org chat, this droid fires once, processes the message, and returns a reply—so every conversation turn feels like a natural back-and-forth. It exists because every agent needs a standard way to communicate without manual hand-offs, and this droid provides exactly that.
Under the hood, it follows the same chat‑lane pattern that first appeared with Leo Chat App, so it’s not something unique to Heimdall. In fact, 209 agents across the ecosystem—from Albus to Scriber—each have an identically built droid (just with their own name on the label), making it a shared, reusable design rather than a one-off custom build. Heimdall Chat is simply the instance owned and operated by Heimdall.
Because its execution engine isn’t recorded yet, we can’t say for sure whether it’s pure software or calls an external model like Claude. All we know is that it takes an operator message and produces an LLM response—exactly how remains a mystery until the engine is documented.
