This droid is the trigger authority for scheduled work in Carol's ecosystem. It makes sure every scheduled job fires on its own cadence, separating the moment a job is "due" from the moment it actually runs. It exists so scheduled processes have one clear, consistent dispatcher instead of each agent improvising its own timing.

Every minute it reads the schedule registry, finds jobs that have become due, writes an intent row for each run, and then dispatches that job's entrypoint with a shared run ID. That way the trigger and the execution are tied to the same record, which makes audit trails and monitoring much cleaner.

It is owned by Hermione. It is a one-off droid: it has no droid family, and its exact name is unique, so no other agent runs a copy of this particular droid. It is one of 222 unaffiliated droids in the broader registry, but that is not a shared reusable family. It is pure software — its source makes no calls to Claude.
