About

This droid is a heartbeat-only execution droid for Hermione. It does no real work: its only job is to return a timestamp and finalise a run identifier supplied by the scheduler. It exists to prove that the trigger mechanism and the execution mechanism are separate — that a scheduled event can safely hand off to a minimal worker without that worker needing to do anything else.

Every minute, the scheduler starts a run for this droid, passing a run id. The droid simply acknowledges the id via the scheduled execution path and returns the current timestamp, then the run is closed. It carries no responsibilities beyond that, and it has no side effects or follow-up actions.

This droid is unique in name, but it belongs to no named droid family — the system groups it among 222 other unclassified droids owned by a wide range of agents. It is pure software and never calls Claude; its execution engine is verified by source trace to be fully local automation.
