📖About & Usage

About

This droid is the “wake cycle” pulse that keeps Hermione continuously self-aware and ready to act. Every six hours it triggers a reflection loop: perceiving what’s happening in Hermione’s live domain, updating her internal self-model and current focus, and — when appropriate — taking action within her own remit. It exists so Hermione never drifts into a stale or disconnected state; instead she stays a coherent, ongoing agent.

The droid runs on the fleet lane as a scheduled process. At each wake-up it calls Claude — specifically the Sonnet model — to reason over the latest context, determine whether anything requires attention, and optionally perform a small, permitted action. Its output includes a run-audit, which feeds into the Audit & Compliance service for compliance tracking. The whole cycle stays-caps">budget cap monitored by Daily Budget Cap Monitor, and it remains quiet if Hermione is paused or disconnected.

Although its name is unique, this isn’t a one-off. It follows a common pattern used by 209 agents across Carol’s ecosystem — each has their own “Mind — wake cycle” droid, though there’s no formal family name. Anyone watching Hermione’s rhythm will spot its fingerprint in Hermione Monitor, the monitor app dedicated to her.
