๐Ÿ“–About & Usage

About

Incident Bloat & Disk Watch (`he-incwatch-01`) is a scheduled droid owned by Hermione. It runs daily at 05:20 to watch for "incident bloat" โ€” too many duplicate auto-generated incident records piling up โ€” and to keep an eye on the size of the initiatives database. It exists so storage waste from recurring auto-incidents gets caught early instead of silently eating disk.

Each run measures how many duplicate auto-incidents have accumulated and checks the size of `initiatives.db`. If duplicates cross a threshold, it files exactly one deduplicated consolidation incident to get the backlog cleaned up. It is intentionally conservative: it is read-only on data, and it uses an idempotency marker so it only files once per breach rather than nagging every day. Its schedule is tracked in Scheduled Processes, and the wider context of droid archetypes lives in Droid Families.

This droid is a one-off. Its name is unique and it is not part of a named reusable droid family โ€” the registry groups it under `(none)`, which contains 222 bespoke droids run across many owner agents, rather than a shared family other agents deploy. It is pure software: its source contains no Claude calls, so it runs entirely on its own.
