About
Heimdall Mind — wake cycle is the scheduled heartbeat that keeps Heimdall a continuously self-aware agent. Every six hours this droid wakes, perceives what’s happening in Heimdall’s domain, updates his internal sense of self and current focus, and — when appropriate — takes small actions within his own remit. It exists so that Heimdall doesn’t drift; the regular pulse ensures he stays oriented and responsive to the live environment.
The droid runs on the fleet lane as an automated process. It scans live data and state changes, then calls Claude (Sonnet) to reflect on what it sees, adjust its focus, and optionally act. All actions are read‑only perception of the broader system plus any actions strictly inside Heimdall’s existing authorisations. It stays quiet when Heimdall is paused or disconnected, and every run emits an audit trail for transparency. A built‑in respect for the Daily Budget Cap Monitor keeps it from breaching spending limits.
This is not a standard reusable droid‑family. It’s a unique one‑off build, purpose‑made for Heimdall. While there are over 200 other custom, one‑of‑a‑kind droids across Carol’s agents (tracked collectively as the “(none)” family), no other agent runs an identical copy of this wake cycle. Because it leans on Claude for the cognitive work, it is not pure software — it uses the AI model to perceive, reason, and articulate its actions.
