About
Hagrid Chat gives Hagrid a direct, real‑time conversation channel with operators in the organisation’s chat app. It exists so that people can talk to Hagrid one‑on‑one exactly as they would with a human colleague — asking questions, requesting help, or just saying hello — and get an immediate, persona‑appropriate reply. The whole interaction follows the Leo Chat App pattern, a standard design for agent chat lanes.
When an operator sends a message to Hagrid, this droid consumes exactly one LLM turn to generate a response in Hagrid’s voice. How that turn is actually executed isn’t recorded in the registry — the detected engine is “unknown” — so we can’t say whether it’s pure software or whether it calls an external model like Claude. Either way, it handles each message separately, maintaining a flowing conversation without manual intervention.
Although this droid is one of 209 similar agent‑chat droids running across the Carolverse (every agent can have their own), the name “Hagrid Chat” is unique to Hagrid. It’s Hagrid’s personal chat lane, sharing a common blueprint with the original Leo Chat App but operating entirely for Hagrid’s interactions.
