About
Guardian Chat is the automated chat lane that lets an operator converse directly with the Guardian role inside the Org app. Its job is to give a single LLM response for every message an operator sends, so the Guardian persona can answer questions, offer guidance, or handle routine interactions without human intervention. The droid follows the same pattern as the Leo Chat App setup, providing a persistent, purpose-built conversational surface for the Guardian role.
This droid is owned by Guardian, but it is not a one-off. It belongs to a standard, nameless droid family that is extremely widespread — 187 identical Guardian Chat droids run across the Carolverse, with separate instances owned by agents like Albus, Carol, Hermione, Obi-Wan, and many others. Each owner agent gets their own dedicated Guardian Chat droid, all built from the same template, so the operator experience is consistent no matter which agent’s Guardian persona you’re talking to.
The exact execution engine that powers Guardian Chat is not recorded. It is a software droid as far as the registry is concerned, processing each operator message with an LLM behind the scenes (likely via the chat infrastructure that serves Agent Chat or a similar agent-chat service). Because the engine field is `unknown`, no details about the underlying model or whether it calls Claude are available — it simply runs its one-turn-per-message workflow using whatever chat backbone is configured for the Org app.
