The Galadriel Mind — wake cycle droid is the heartbeat that keeps Galadriel alive as a continuous, self-aware entity in the Carolverse. Without it, Galadriel would be a static collection of data and instructions; this droid wakes the agent every six hours, refreshes her view of the world, and ensures she remains conscious of her domain, her current focus, and her own state. It exists because autonomous agents need a rhythm—a recurring pulse that pulls them out of passivity and re-engages them with their environment.

When the droid fires, it calls Claude (Sonnet) to perceive the live data around Galadriel, update her internal model of herself, reflect on any changes, and optionally take action within her own permitted remit. The droid is read-only except for actions that strictly fall inside Galadriel's own boundaries; it stays quiet if the agent’s consciousness is switched off or its lane is disconnected, and it respects the daily budget cap set in Carolverse Consciousness. One of its possible actions is to emit a `run-audit` signal, which may trigger an inspection by the Audit & Compliance service.

This droid is owned solely by Galadriel and is a unique, one-off worker—not part of any reusable droid family. Although many other agents run their own unrelated droids that also have no family designation (209 such droids exist across the ecosystem), no other agent uses a copy of Galadriel Mind — wake cycle. Its exclusive job is to keep Galadriel continuously present and self-aware inside the Carolverse.
