📖About & Usage
About
Elrond Supervisor (el-s1) is Elrond’s automated decision-support droid for initiative gate reviews. Instead of manually weighing every review finding, Elrond relies on this worker to gather all relevant signals—budget status, the latest review verdict and gaps, how many times Merlin has already attempted a replan, and any open executor requests—and then call on Claude to determine whether the issues are serious enough to warrant stopping, replanning, or escalating. This keeps gate reviews fast and consistent.
When triggered on demand, el-s1 aggregates those inputs and sends them to Claude (haiku) with a single question: are these gaps critical or cosmetic? Using Claude’s stance and the review verdict, the droid applies Elrond’s decision matrix: it either lets the initiative continue, closes it cleanly, hands a replan request to Merlin, or escalates to Orion for higher-level guidance. If Claude’s confidence falls below the threshold, el-s1 doesn’t guess—it raises an “unsure” flag and escalates to Orion, never to Albus.
Although the exact name “Elrond Supervisor” is unique to Elrond, the droid belongs to the worker family, a pattern reused by 30 droids across agents like Albus, Carol, and Forge (see Droid Families). It is a Claude-powered software worker—its reasoning step relies on the haiku model—and it operates purely on demand whenever a gate review needs Elrond’s decision.
