📖About & Usage

About

The Mileage Collector is a measurer droid that keeps the RSI Dashboard Dashboard’s Mileage measure fresh. Owned by Elrond, it runs every day at 05:35, computing the windowed median number of tokens used per delivered Build Initiative. It exists so the Carolverse has a reliable, automatically updated efficiency gauge—showing how many language‑model tokens are typically spent to ship a finished initiative.

When it runs, the droid checks that data/.rsi_enabled is active, then pulls recently completed initiatives from the Carol Initiatives service. It calculates a rolling median, snapshots the result, and emits a run‑audit event so the Audit & Compliance service can log the checkpoint cleanly. The droid belongs to the measurer family, which has two droids total, both under Elrond’s ownership—so while the name “Mileage Collector” is unique, it’s not a solitary droid in its category.

The droid’s execution engine isn’t recorded yet in the Carolopedia, so we don’t know whether it’s a pure‑software script or if it calls Claude for any part of its work. Until that’s documented, we can only say it’s a scheduled process that runs automatically via Scheduled Processes, delivering its number quietly and on time.
