📖About & Usage

About

The Elrond Failure Investigator is an automated troubleshooter that digs into why other droids fail. It exists so that Elrond doesn't have to manually trawl through logs every time a worker hits an error. It polls a failure database, reads the failing droid's process logs, identifies the most likely root cause, and records what it found.

It works entirely as pure software—it never calls Claude or any language model. Instead it uses pattern-based analysis of log snippets, looking for known failure signatures. Its output feeds straight into the reflection pipeline so that Elrond and the wider system can act on the findings (though the droid itself never fixes anything or retries the job).

This exact droid is a unique one-off owned by Elrond, but it's part of the larger Droid Families intelligence family. That family includes 24 other intelligence droids used by agents like Albus, Athena, Carol, and thirteen more. So while the idea of a failure investigator is shared, this particular implementation is Elrond's personal tool.
