📖About & Usage

About

Design Alignment is an automated worker owned by Argus that continuously checks whether new design proposals stay true to established patterns, standards, and architectural intent. It exists to catch misalignments early, before they turn into costly rework or technical drift, giving Argus a reliable safety net that flags inconsistencies without manual review.

The droid runs as a pipeline process, automatically scanning design artifacts (such as Carol Design specifications and Blueprint outputs) and using Claude (haiku) to compare them against reference models and rules. When it spots a deviation, it surfaces a plain-language alert so the agent can decide whether to adjust the design or update the guidelines. All decisions stay with Argus; the droid itself doesn’t block or reject anything.

Although this specific droid is unique by name, it belongs to an unnamed family of 187 similar droids used by many agents across the Carolverse. Other agents run their own instances of the same family to handle their own alignment needs, but Design Alignment is Argus’s personal copy, tuned to that agent’s domain. It is a software droid that calls Claude for its judgment work, making it a hybrid of deterministic pipeline and AI-powered reasoning.

CAROL-INI-2192-01: Dispatcher transient-failure classifier must recognize reviewer-degraded (Claude timeout/parse) as park-and-retry
NARROW DISPATCHER FIX, distinct from INI-505 Phase-2 (which is about REPORTING more failure types into the universal channel + an Albus self-monitor). This is purely about the Elr\u2026
